After taking place in several different countries, the next installment of “The Fast and the Furious” is going to go to South America. Vin Diesel has just taken it to his Facebook to inform that the crew for “Fast Five” have begun scouting in Brazil.

“Had a meeting with Justin Lin today regarding the Fast saga… some daring but fascinating thoughts in terms of action set pieces… and relationships, old and new,” so he wrote on Thursday, March 4. “The team is on their way to Brazil this evening, to scout, and to see what selection of cars there are.”

The first film was set in Southern California, where the fourth movie “Fast and Furious” also took place. The sequel “2 Fast 2 Furious” and the third installment “The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift” meanwhile were filmed in Florida and Tokyo, Japan respectively.

The story of “Fast Five” reportedly will follow Vin Diesel’s Dom and Paul Walker’s Brian as fugitives who are pursued by relentless lawmen. Justin Lin is set to serve behind the lens when the film kick off production later this year with the script penned by Chris Morgan. Neal Moritz produces while Universal Pictures eyes June 10, 2011 U.S. release date.

The New York Yankees third baseman was sitting on a couch beside Cameron as she “was dancing by herself” before moving her gyrating body towards him.

At one point the blonde beauty – who was “tipsy” and being very “fun and flirty” – began “grinding on ‘A-Rod’”.

Teen idol Selena Gomez covered “Bidi Bidi Bom Bom” by the legendary Selena Quintanilla-Perez at her concert in San Antonio on February 7. The 17-year old Latina singer/actress, dressed in a shimmering white-and-silver dress and sparkly black vest, truly held her own singing the classic single in Spanish. The song is a favorite for any Latino but that wasn’t the only reason Gomez was drawn to the song…

“My dad and family loved her,” Selena said, “So when my mother got pregnant with me, he wanted to name me Selena, after her. As I got older and could understand why I was named after her, I went to go visit her grave and where she used to perform.”

Nelly Furtado will grace the big screen in the near future thanks to Canadian director Michael McGowan.

According to McGowan, the “Promiscuous” singer has been penciled in to play a role in ‘Score: A Hockey Musical’.

“Nelly is an incredible entertainer and after speaking with her, I realized that she fully relished embracing her inner hockey fanatic,” McGowan said in a release Thursday.

Furtado will play a zealous hockey fan in the film, which will be shot in Toronto this week.

LOS ANGELES — Charlie Sheen’s Mercedes-Benz was reported stolen and found crashed in a ravine some 400 feet below the famed Mulholland Drive this morning, the Los Angeles Police Department has confirmed.

Someone reported a “vehicle over the side” of the winding ridgetop road at 4:06 a.m., said Erik Scott of the Los Angeles Fire Department.

Soon after, the vehicle was spotted upside-down in a ditch near the “Two And A Half Men” star’s home.

L.A. firefighters along with two helicopter crews searched the area for possible crash victims, but none were found.

Officer Bruce Borihanh said there was no evidence to suggest someone was inside the car when it went over the edge.

Sheen reportedly parked the car inside an open garage at his Sherman Oaks home with the keys still inside the ignition.

The home is located in a gated community, and Sheen apparently told authorities that’s why he felt safe leaving the car that way.

The actor received a call around 4 a.m. from his remote diagnostics company, similar to OnStar, telling him his car had been involved in a crash and the airbags had deployed, according to online reports.

Sheen apparently then realized his car had been stolen and called authorities. The car was found around the same time in a ditch not far from the actor’s home.

It was not clear whether the actor was targeted in the theft. Investigators said nothing else was burglarized from Sheen’s home.

No suspects have been found. Police were searching for possible surveillance video of the vehicle leaving the gated community.

The LAPD says it is investigating the case as an auto theft.
